I made the style changer ASP driven, so no more funky flashing :~)

Your style preference is stored in a cookie for 30 days. After that you're forced to view the Yeller scheme again (mostly because I think it's the coolest, and I'm in charge around here dontcha know).

The style changer on here uses a dumbed down version of the changer at DWfaq.com and the same one Angela and I demonstrated at TODCON '01, which is used at Typlexia.com.

Server Formats Galore

In the process of putting together my blog, I've come up with quite a few functions for manipulating dates. This includes find the start and end of a week that contains a particular date (for the archives and such) as well as quiet a few others.

Angela and I figured that if I found them useful, someone else probably would as well. So we're in the final phases of putting together a commercial group of Server Formats. Angela has some information on pricing and a screenshot at her blog. Not only will you have a buttload of formats to start with, you'll be able to edit each one to meet your specific locale's formatting settings. We may eventually do one that will let you manually specify exactly how you want stuff formatted if people think it would be of value.

Calendar improved

I added a bit more functionality to the calendar, disabling the forward and next links if you've reached the end of the posts. This prevents someone from going all to the way to Jan 2003 or back to Jan 2001 if there in fact, aren't any posts there.

Done with a few simple If statements and date manipulations.
