CSSVista

I found this really slick utility through Digital Media Minute. CSSVista (a free application, Windows only folks) allows you to edt your CSS live in both IE and Firefox... (wait for it...) at the same time. It opens a copy of your page in IE and Firefox in a split view window. You can then edit the CSS just like you would in Firefox and your changes are immediately displayed in both browsers.

This is going to save me a ton of time... I often debug my CSS in Firefox, make sure it's all working, then copy the CSS to Dreamweaver and start testing in IE. Now I can do it all in one place.

Not the kind of feature I'd really expect, but okay :)

I have just tried it. At what point are the browser windows updated? I have changed the css in the left window and nothing happens. The refresh just loads back the original css, the ctrl-S does nothing apparently and there are no more buttons to press. Am I missing something obvious?

Hi Chris, When I make changes in CSSVista they take effect *immediately*. If you're not seeing that behavior, you'll most likely have to contact the folks at CSSVista for support. Also, make sure you have the .NET 2.0 Framework installed, as I believe that's a required component for things to behave correctly.
