Today's Life Lesson

Had a good night tonight at the Rhythym Lab taking Bongo lessons. I learned a very hard lesson though. Keep that thumb away from the Bongo when you're not playing Martillo. Tain't fun I tell ya...

    btw, our percussionist at church says the first thing to do when starting to learn to play is to beat your hands into bloody, senseless lumps... when you can no longer feel pain (or anything else) in them, you're ready to start playing conga, etc. ;-)
